Fall In My Neck of the World

Barns and TreesSummer is such a busy time for my family. The kids are all involved in something and I am the type that does not like to miss a thing. It is hard to remember to stop and smell the roses so to speak. This year was no different. I let life lead me instead of me leading my life. I got wrapped up in the day to day and forgot to just be still. To stop and enjoy moments. I need to get back to basics. Dial it back and remember to enjoy each moment for what they are worth. Hi Friends! Spring seems to have finally hit Michigan and let me just tell you, not a moment too soon in my opinion. I can’t wait to get my hands in the dirt and start planting. There is a big garden going in with 5 different varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Also some purple carrots that I am excited about. School is almost out for the boys and me. I have to admit, the prospect of the last day of school is every bit as exciting as it was when I was younger and a student. I have been busy snapping snap shots on Instagram of all the great changes that are going on with Spring finally settling in.
