Spring In My Village – a photo essay

Spring 3

Hi Friends! Spring seems to have finally hit Michigan and let me just tell you, not a moment too soon in my opinion. I can’t wait to get my hands in the dirt and start planting. There is a big garden going in with 5 different varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Also some purple carrots that I am excited about. School is almost out for the boys and me. I have to admit, the prospect of the last day of school is every bit as exciting as it was when I was younger and a student. I have been busy snapping snap shots on Instagram of all the great changes that are going on with Spring finally settling in.

Enjoy

Lilacs are starting to bloom. One of my favorite flowers, they definitely do not last long enough.

Spring 4

A Robbin’s Egg that I found while walking. I had to wonder, hatched or was it eaten by something…

Spring 5

A great old barn that I love

Spring 6

A friend of mines beautiful crab apple tree. The flowers are wonderfully fragrant and just beautiful!
