Spaghetti Salad… Recipe Countdown 2013

This has been my first year blogging from my very own ” .com”.  Moving over from my rambling blogger blog, was so exciting. My wonderful Aunt Brenda helped me to set it all up. Thank you Aunt Brenda!  This year, I have made new friends, entertained old ones and throughout kept my family well fed. Even if I had to photograph the food before they could eat it. Not too bad a trade off, I hope.  Blogging has been a great learning experience. I found that I love writing as much as I love reading. I am pretty much in love with words and language. Pretty nice for someone who makes her living in an elementary school library and literacy support program.

To cap off this great year I am sharing my top 5 recipes/posts of 2013. One a week until New Year’s Eve, when I will share the Number 1 post.

Spaghetti Salad Picnic

Post number 5… Spaghetti Salad. A recipe I shared as one of my #SundaySupper posts. Picnic foods was our theme and there is nothing better than Spaghetti Salad in my book. I love the fresh veggies, the pasta, cheese, smokey meat, and the tangy kick that a vinegar based dressing gives it all. I mean what can be wrong about cheese, meats, olives and veggies?  It was fun to look back through the photographs of this blog post, mostly to see the green grass and summery food. It is a whopping 17F outside at my home in Michigan today. Brrrr

So, for a trip down memory lane take a peak at my SPAGHETTI SALAD FOR A #SUNDAYSUPPER PICNIC. While you are there, you can also browse through the great recipes that were shared by other #SundaySupper members.
