Broccoli Bacon Salad for #SundaySupper

Broccoli Bacon SaladA few years ago, at my sister-in-law’s baby shower, I sampled the very best salad ever. It was crunchy and sweet. There was a slight tang to the dressing that matched smokey undertones. I did not just have one plate, I went back for seconds. It was awesome. I knew that I had to try and recreate this salad.

Since then, it is one of my favorites to bring to a Shower, whether it is a bridal shower, baby shower or even a house warming party. It looks so fresh and pretty with all of its colors and textures. This salad is always a hit and always good. What  is this salad that I am talking about? Well it is the Broccoli Bacon Salad.

  8. Okay, I make Broccoli Salad all the time…it’s a favorite of absolutely everybody I know (my whole family whines if it doesn’t show up at a holiday potluck)…HOWEVER, I’ve never seen it with pasta added. That is brilliant! I will totally be adding it next time.

  19. Oh my gosh, I can’t wait to try this! I think I might sub lemon juice for the white wine vinegar.

  20. Shannon, my mouth was watering as I read through this post. I haven’t had this salad in years. At an old job of mine, about 10 years ago, we’d do monthly potluck style lunches and one of my coworkers always brought her amazing broccoli bacon salad. It was always a huge hit. Thanks for sharing this – I need to make this soon!
